Donate to Bladder Cancer Research

BCG Oncology Research is working hard to improve the treatment of bladder cancer. You donations will be used to fund research that is making a difference in the lives of people with bladder cancer. Here are some examples:
  • Clinical research: Industry has withdrawn funding for our study of TICE BCG plus Intron A interferon and Oncovite high dose vitamins. With 670 patients entered in this randomized trial, Dr. Lamm is seeking further funding to complete and analyze this important work. Ongoing studies of gene therapy, improved chemotherapy and new immunotherapies are also underfunded.
  • Basic research: In collaboration with Dr. McGarry and others at Arizona State University, new immune treatments are being developed. Additional funding would permit study of agents that could be used when BCG fails.
