What to Bring to Your AppointmentIf you are visiting the BCG Oncology offices, please bring your medical records and x-rays, as well as your insurance information. You can leave your credit card at home, but bring cash or a checkbook if your insurance requires a copay. Medical records that are particularly important include operation and pathology reports, discharge summaries, and referral letters. If you wish, you may download the history form that is appropriate for you and complete prior to your appointment. Be sure to make a list of all your medications, the doses, and the reason you take the medicine. Also make a list of any herbs, vitamins, or alternative medicines/treatments you take. If you are being evaluated for blood in the urine or a history of bladder cancer, you may be a candidate for a cystoscopic examination (cystoscopy). If you come from a long distance, please let us know that you may need to be scheduled for cystoscopy so it can be done at the time of your visit.
